So while Exploring dilwalo ki Delhi, we headed into a corner near Lajpat Nagar, A place called  “Price Chaat Bhandar”

If you are south Delhiites, you already know about them, as they were serving their flavourful and mouth-watering chaats since ages in greater Kailash M-block market, but due to some reasons they need to end their journey there and started their new outlet at Amar colony Lajpat Nagar, Ok ok we know there are many chaat corners in Delhi, what’s special about this?

Let’s Just first know more about them!!

At the age of 14, a young boy from his village came to Delhi with a dream of doing something different and started a business of chaat, earlier they were known as KWALITY CHAAT then as MAHESH CHAAT & PRINCE CHAAT GK1. They established new heights in CHAAT business by using MINERAL WATER for golgappas and wearing GLOVES while serving as their preparations, they are the inventor of SPECIAL PALAK PAPDI CHAAT catered to the whose of Delhi/NCR and across the globe, Give Them a Chance to tickle your taste buds!!

Did you ever heard about Palak Papdi Chaat before!
yes, they are one of the finest and only palak chaat makers in Delhi NCR.

Palak Patta Chaat consists of spinach leaves coated with besan batter, deep fried and then dunked In fresh cold curd, sonth, matar and a variety of masalas, and Voila, it’s ready to make your heart and mouth full with so many flavours.

They are not only the inventors of Palak Chaat but also introduced basket chaat in Delhi, yes they have one of the finest Basket chaats in Delhi if you don’t know what basket chaat is!
Let me help you.

As the name suggests, the chaat literally resembles a basket which is overloaded with a whole bunch of ingredients, which no doubt make it an indulgent affair, and an immensely satisfying one too. The tokri or the basket is delightfully crispy, and it is made by deep-frying grated potatoes using a mould.

This place is a heaven for chaat lovers. The delicious snacks are cooked in desi ghee. I have tried everything on the menu- Chole Tikki, aloo Tikki, Pani puri, pao bhaji, Bhalla papdi etc. It is a bit expensive compared to other street joints but it is worth the cost.

And the best part about them is, they are serving PURE VEGETARIAN menu, and they always change their whole menu and the ingredients they use during Navratri and The snacks that they prepare during Navratras are mouthwatering.

Because of the Quality and their Delightful and mouth-watering menu, they are so famous among celebrities and political parties as well, they are serving their chaats in many Bollywood celeb weddings and parties.

 Real talk

I really enjoyed eating there, the owner himself is a very nice man, named “MAHESH KASHYAP JI” he told me that he was serving chaat and golgappes when he was a child after coming from school he sells golgappe at the local market of his village, he said, at that time he sells 30 golgappes in only 1 rupee, he worked really hard to achieve his name in this city and now he and his son serving their delightful chaat bhandar in many famous celeb parties and they also won many food competitions,

And being a girl I would really like to mention this thing here that “ I saw not only his son is helping him but also his Daughter, yes when we went there  I saw his Daughter was working there too just like his Brother and this is called Equality” being a villager he knows the meaning of Equality, What’s your excuse??
